The Pentagon:
(1) Positive Statement: What positive thing happen as a result of what you have completed so far?

As a result I feel that I have a better understanding of Real Estate than what I started with. I can read some forms and applications and begin to fill them out. In the future when I begin the process of buying a house I will have a better understanding of what is going to happen.  

(2) EQ Content:  Pick a piece of research or your interview.  How has it helped you improve your understanding of your topic?
After researching my topic I understand that Real Estate is more than just selling and buying property and that there is a specific meaning for the term "property" in Real Estate. Real Estate plays a huge role in our economy and not just our economy but internationally too, my interview is what helped me better understand this.

(3) What has worked for you so far in the senior project?

Finding a mentor that does not mind explaining terms or concepts to me that I do not understand and making time for me when I do have these questions.

(4) What hasn't worked so far?  

Because a realtor has to be licensed in the state that they operate in, my mentorship learning is very limited to filing and just shadowing around the office.

(5) Finding Value:  Based on your experience so far,

(a) What possible question or questions come to mind regarding what you would like to study this year?

I know that there are many problems in Real Estate and questions I have in regards to this are:

What can do if a situation every occurs to me or someone I know? How can it be resolved?

(b) What is your end goal this year with your senior project?

My end goal of my senior project is to have enough understanding in Real Estate, so that when I am old enough I can go into the housing market and buy a house without the help of a realtor.

(c) Who would you like to talk to you next? Why?   

I would like to someone who works in finance in Real Estate to have a better understanding in the economics and business aspect of Real Estate.
